Shield Sign Board

Shield is a Floor Standing Sign with a rigid aluminium panel.

Ideal for use outside shops, restaurants and bars

Hard recycled rubber base weighing 8kgs

Supplied with a a 1.2mm aluminium sheet, onto which self adhesive graphics can be applied, or printed with a flat bed UV printer.

There is a choice of panels - either curved corners or arch top

Complete with bolts securing the panel to the base

Printing to both sides of the panel

Dimensions: 465(w) x 450(d) x 800mm(h)

The graphic panel is 410mm wide

Shield sign boards can be used in many different locations frequented by the public as advertising boards. However, that doesn't mean that you are allowed to use them on a public pavement/footpath. There is usually no problem on private land, but most people are unaware that there are laws covering signs and advertisements, including their size and location on your property and near public spaces. This is all covered by the The Town and Country Planning (Control of Advertisements) (England) Regulations 2007. There is a publication - Outdoor Advertisements and Signs: A Guide for Advertisers - which will give you legal guidance. Having said that, it does depend on local circumstances as to whether or not you may be asked to remove a sign or advertisement.
