The Roehampton Club

The Roehampton Club is a premium private sports club in West London. It has superb facilities for golf, tennis, croquet, squash, swimming and gym fitness.

The grounds services area had grown over a number of years to become a mish-mash of buildings and facilities, which included some staff accomodation. This combination had not only led to a site which was difficult to operate, but was also difficult to maintain levels of efficiency and safety.

Design-Ex surveyed the site, carried out a feasibility study and put forward schemes to improve the design and layout of the site. This included:

A new 10,000 sq.ft Grounds Maintenance Building, with modern machinery stores, workshops, offices and staff facilities.

A new Bunker and Waste Services building for materials and waste reycling.

Relocation of the Buildings Maintenance Workshop.

Improved environment for the on-site staff accommodation.

New and safer traffic circulation with improvements to existing access and a new highway exit.
